CDCR Refuses to Negotiate with the Prisoners
According to the LA Times, the Hunger Strike has spread to at least 11 prisons. CDCR (CA Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation) is aware of the exact numbers of prisoners participating in the strike system-wide, but is withholding them. The CDCR is also refusing to negotiate with the prisoners.
Call the CDCR, Jerry Brown and your representatives and urge them to negotiate with the Pelican Bay SHU prisoners and honor their demands!
